Creating a Social Media Content Strategy

Do you struggle with what to post to your social media accounts?

Want to know how to create the content that your ideal customer or client wants to see?

Ready to get to grips with creating a social media strategy for your business?

If this all sounds like a bit of what you’re after then you need to book onto this workshop. It’s perfect if you’re a small business owner who already knows their way around the major social media platforms but struggles to know what to post to your accounts and needs a plan of action to help you move forward and focus on other sides of your business!

Workshop overview;

During the 2 hour workshop we will;

  • guide you to create ideal client avatars that you will use to formulate your social media marketing strategy.
  • help you understand more about your ideal client or customer; their pain points and what your business does to solve these.
  • create a visual content plan to help you understand the different segments of your business and how much social media content you should dedicate to each segment.
  • understand that cross-posting (Instagram-Facebook) is not always a great idea but show you a quick solution to get around this.
  • plan together as group at least 1 months worth of social media content for use on your platforms.
  • get to grips with my 5-3-2 content formula and why this is so vital for producing content on your platforms.
  • look at attention grabbing headlines, the secrets of writing copy (text) that converts browsers to customers and the importance of calling your audience to action on social media.

Everything we cover will be taught in a way you can understand and with a hands-on approach so that you leave the session bursting with ideas on how your small business can make a big noise online. The workshop is capped at a maximum of 8 participants to ensure everyone has an opportunity to get the most from 1-1 input as well as group discussion and paired work.

What to bring;

For this class to be truly hands on I would recommend bringing a fully charged smart-phone, tablet or Laptop from which you can access the social media platforms on.

N.B – If you just bring a phone you won’t be able to have access to all the social network features so will need to implement some of the learning on the course back on your laptop at home.

Unlimited tea and coffee will be provided throughout the session and a delicious sweet treat we will be using to create content as well as devour!

When and where;

9.45am – 11.45am on Thursday 17th October 2019 | Hotel Bosco, St. Mark’s Hill, Surbiton
